Why I built this
I have two dogs. Zara, my German Shepherd, has food allergies and just the wrong treat could get us into real trouble. Mika, my Cattle Dog, is a sweetheart with people but particular about other dogs on walks. I've spent years training her and I need whoever watches her to keep that consistent so she's not stressed.
Every time I left them with someone I'd fire off a wall of texts, dig up an old Google Sheet, try to remember everything at the door while grabbing my keys. And I'd always forget something.
Then we moved to London. New city, no sitter network, starting completely from scratch. And I noticed something. Dog walkers there juggle 10, 12, sometimes 15 dogs at a time. I kept thinking, how do they remember which one can't have chicken? Which one bolts at the door? Which one needs their medication hidden in peanut butter?
They can't. Not without help.
Then my friend had to watch our dogs last minute back home. She didn't know what Zara could eat. She didn't know how to walk Mika. She was stressed. The dogs were stressed. I was stressed on a plane.
That's when it clicked. Why isn't there just one link I can send anyone? A sitter, a friend, a trainer, a boarding facility. A dog walker juggling 10 dogs. One link, always current, with everything they need.
So I built it.
